Beauty and the Beast is the difference of a narrative by Madame de Villeneuve. Revealed anonymously in 1740 as La Jeune Américaine et les contes marins, it paints a portrait of Belle, a joyful and touching younger lady who falls in love with the Beast, a cursed creature in the hunt for love and redemption. In 1760, a condensed kids’s model was printed. It was from this model that Jean Cocteau after which Walt Disney drew their well-known variations. Overshadowed, the unique model by Madame de Villeneuve has never been adapted for the screen… till now!
